Three Movers – $120.00 per hour with a required minimum of three hours (Base Rate – $360 + $65.00 fuel and material’s charge =$425 -$50 coupon = $375.00 for the first three hours) This includes Truck,  labor, fuel , materials (Shrink Wrap Moving Blankets Tape), minor furniture assembly and insurance.

Anything over three hours will be prorated every 15 minutes until the job is done.  Job starts at the time we get to your place and ends when we are finished with your move. No charge for travel to your move from the warehouse

(Large 1br, 1br with den, Lofts, 2br , Small Houses/Town Houses less than 3br)
Four Movers – $140.00 per hour with a required minimum of three hours (Base Rate $420 + $65.00 fuel and materials charge =$485 – $50. coupon = $435.00 for the first three hours) This includes Truck, labor, fuel , materials (Shrink Wrap Moving Blankets Tape), minor furniture assembly and insurance. . (Large Homes , Apartments over 2 bedrooms or Commercial moves)
For houses or condos over 2 bedrooms we often recommend adding extra movers and an additional truck. We only have trucks up to 26 ft in our fleet and we have found that jobs over 2 bedrooms often require more than 26 ft .It is also more efficient and cost effective to add an additional truck than to try to do two trips with one truck. Commercial moves require and onsite walk thru. Please call or email for details.

STAIRS WITH NO ELEVATOR UPDATE The stair charge is $20.00 per flight for two flights of stairs or more at the same location. This means that for two flights you pay $40.00 and for three flights you pay $60.00 (and so on). We consider a flight ten consecutive stairs.
We bill from the curbside so if you have 3 flights of stairs outside of your house before we get to your front door you will be billed for those stairs in addition to the ones in your home.

Fuel and Material Charge- This charge covers fuel, shrink wrap tape and moving blankets. This rate applies to homes or apts 2 bedrooms or smaller. Most moves within a 10 mile radius will have the same $65.00 material and fuel charge. This charge may increase based on larger moves that require us to use excessive materials or jobs that require us to travel over 10 miles.

(Long Distance Moves)
Any move out of the DC  MD or VA metropolitan area or over 35 miles will require a long distance quote. Most of these quotes are all inclusive flat rates based on miles, tolls and contents to be moved. We do all long distance moves in house and do not contract out to brokers or other companies. This is often where things lost, stolen or damaged. Please call or email for details.

All of the above quotes are for moves that are already packed by the customer. If you require packing services please let us know. Packing services often require significant additional time and we often like to pack on days before your move.

Short and Long term storage may be available, ask for details. Space is limited and is reserved on a first come-first serve basis.
(MOVING BOXES )
We don’t sell moving boxes. We recommend www.rentourboxes.com, an independent green company that can deliver rental boxes for your move for an additional charge. Please go to their website to schedule this service.
